Notes for Editors
The Mackintosh Building site has been closed since late March 2020 in line with Scottish Government policy. During this time Reigart Contracts Ltd have implemented a system of on-going checks on the building which included a programme of weekly inspections of the scaffolding by SGB or its subcontractors. The 24-hour security of the site being undertaken by CSM also continued.
Throughout the site stand down the GSA’s structural engineers, David Narro Associates, also undertook regular monitoring inspections of the building.
