A spokesperson for The Glasgow School of Art said:
“We were surprised to receive a request for comment on this matter as we have advised the Sunday Post on numerous occasions over the past 12 months that the GSA cannot comment on individual staffing matters which is the basis of this question. What we can say is that in all cases the GSA follows its processes and procedures and complies fully with appropriate legislation.
Equally, the Sunday Post was advised in August 2019, when it ran a similar story, that the GSA’s staff turnover is and remains in line with the Higher Education sector average and has done so for many years.
The one thing that this article highlights is the ongoing vexatious and motivated nature of Mark Aitken and the Sunday Post’s reporting.”
