to support Scotland’s cultural and creative sector in a post-devolution
Scotland including introducing regular long-term funding for a range of
organisations. Under his leadership the National Theatre of Scotland and
Sistema Scotland (The Big Noise) were both established and a dedicated Scottish
presence at the Venice Art Biennale was introduced.

“Graham Berry’s
impact on Scotland’s creative and cultural eco-system cannot be
under-estimated, but it is something for which he remains incredibly modest”
says Professor Tom Inns, Director of The Glasgow School of Art. “Now in
Singapore, in his distinctly quiet way, Graham is contributing with just as
much vigour and insight, helping to shape Singapore’s creative and cultural
future.”
