Landscape Institute, it was confirmed today, 13 November 2017. ‘Growing Awareness – How green consciousness can change perceptions and places’ was edited by Professor Brian Evans, Head of Urbanism at The Glasgow School of Art (the GSA) and Sue Evans, Head of Development at CSGN.

Sue Evans said: “This is an important accolade for Growing Awareness which is the result of five years research. We hope that the book will play its part in inspiring people to take action to transform the environment.”

Growing Awareness contains fifteen essays by leading worldwide thinkers and
practitioners in the field, each of whom has spoken at CSGN forums from 2011 –
2015, organised within a research framework to reflect on the role and the
benefits of landscapes and ecosystems in city regions, against a backdrop of
climate change, migration, health awareness and ever-increasing urban
intensification.

Mackintosh School of Architecture. The Urban Laboratory seeks to support
