The prestigious event,
which is part of European Architecture Student Assembly (EASA), has been
organised this year by three current students and a graduate from The
Mackintosh School of Architecture at The Glasgow School of Art. INCM Alba 2015
will take place over a week, split between the two GSA locations in Glasgow and
Forres, giving the international students a flavour of Scotland. INCM Alba 2015
runs from 7 to 15 November and is being supported by the Scottish Government.

Notes for Editors
- INCM Alba 2015 is
being organised by Kitty Byrne (currently undertaking a year in professional
practice following Stage 3 Architecture at the GSA), Ewan Hooper and Rob Scott (Stage 4 Architecture students at
the GSA), and Sam Patterson of Architecture and Design Scotland who completed
Stage 5 Architecture at the GSA in 2012. - EASA was set up in the
1980s by Geoff Haslam and Richard Murphy both of whom have gone on to become
major voices in architecture. - In the last few years
INCM events have taken place in Belgrade, Moscow, Copenhagen, Berlin and more.
This is the first time that the event has been held in Scotland. - Scotland’s five
Schools of Architecture are: The Mackintosh School of Architecture at The
Glasgow School of Art; The Scott Sutherland School of Architecture at Robert
Gordon University, Aberdeen; Dundee University; Edinburgh University and
Strathclyde University.
