Media Release: 2020 graduates set to show new work in two special exhibitions

Two groups of artists who graduated from The Glasgow School of Art in 2020 are to have dedicated shows this summer it has been announced. Part of the cohort of graduating students who were unable to have a physical Degree Show due to the Covid pandemic, these artists will now show new work in two special graduate-led exhibitions.  One of the shows will be staged in the former Florence Street school with the other in the Reid Gallery. 

 

In Happy Tide will Flood Again, (25 June – 9 July 2022) 13  MFA graduates will show work in a variety of media including drawing, painting and sculpture. Meanwhile, 12 MLitt Painting and Printmaking graduates will present new work in Room (30 July – 13 August)

 

The shows are supported by The Glasgow School of Art in line with its commitment to enable graduates to stage physical shows when it became possible.
