The Show runs from 3 – 9 September with a Digital Platform featuring work by students across all five schools launching at 4.30pm today.
“We are delighted to welcome Postgraduate Degree Show back to Garnethill this year with two presentations of work,” says Professor Penny Macbeth, Director of The Glasgow School of Art.
“The past few years have created a number of challenges for students on creative programmes and they have had to consider how to mediate them, rethinking their practice and their work, and finding new ways to collaborate and make.”
“The level of thinking, making and realisation in the work by this year’s students across Architecture, Design, Innovation and Simulation & Visualisation is exceptional, engaging across major societal themes and issues, challenging the way we see things, questioning approach to the world around us, but also reflecting the environment and importantly the city in which they have studied and developed their creative practice, resulting in work that is open, innovative and exciting.”
Masters Students on programmes in the School of Design are showing work In the Reid Building (Renfrew Street); Masters of Innovation Design and Simulation and Visualisation are exhibiting in the Haldane Building (Hill Street) and work by Masters students in the Mackintosh School of Architecture can be seen in the Bourdon Building (Scott Street).
Graduate Degree Show 2022 is open to the public 10am – 8pm Monday to Friday; 10am – 6pm Saturday/Sunday
