The
Glasgow School of Art’s Masters of Research in Creative Practices interim show No
Expected Outcome
will open on Thursday 14 April at iota arts space, it was
announced on 21 March 2016.
The exhibition, which features
new work created by 14 students on the postgraduate programme, showcases both
the process of enquiry and the outcomes.



“MRes students value the exchange between creative
practice and social, historical, cultural and theoretical discourses and
traditions,”
says Ranjana Thapalyal, Programme
Leader, MRes in Creative Practices.  “In this exhibition Masters students from
diverse specialisms including photography, painting, sculpture, art history,
writing, medicine, ecology and performance, will showcase new work of ahead of
their multidisciplinary Graduate Show in September ”
Featured
artists are: Celia Garcia, Jade Jackson, Struan Kennedy, Nicole Manley, Leo
Plumb, Marta Tokarz, Jane Walker, Julie Laing, Agnes Jones, Georgina Lundy,
Stuart Nicholson, Sebastian Mary Tay, Niki Taylor and Jonathan Webster.
The
exhibition coincides with GI2016 and The Glasgow School of Art’s Research Expo.
