Returning for its fourth year, Working Space Live is an in-person networking event to connect the creative industries of Glasgow. The event, held at The Glasgow School of Art’s Student Union (GSASA) on Tuesday 6th June, brings together the city’s diverse network of designers, artists, architects, innovators and forward-thinkers alongside our own vibrant community of students, staff, and graduates.

This year sees the return of 2025’s successful PechaKucha format – 20 slides x 20 seconds each – for fast-paced, visual presentations from a diverse group of 16 speakers.

Split into four themed sessions hosted by this year’s event partners—GSA Creative Network, GSA Careers Service, Curio and The Skinny—this year’s event will spotlight a diverse range of speakers from across the creative and cultural industries. With an emphasis on visual storytelling, these fast-paced, fun and informal PechaKucha talks will illuminate projects, ideas, and insights spanning a wide range of topics, while showcasing the vibrant talent and activity taking place across Glasgow’s creative scene.

Designed as a dynamic hub for connection, these talks offer a flexible format in the hallowed Glasgow scene venue The Vic + Assembly, where you can dip in and out, connect, and also find time to see some of the work on show across the GSA campus at Degree Show. More importantly, we intend for these sessions to act as a catalyst, setting the stage for rich, organic conversations that bring our community together.

About The Glasgow School of Art (GSA)

The Glasgow School of Art (GSA) is internationally recognised as one of Europe’s leading independent university-level institutions for education and research in the visual creative disciplines. Ranked eighth in the QS 2026 World University Subject rankings, the GSA is the only institution in Scotland in the global top 10 for art and design and one of only three institutions within the UK.

Our studio-based, specialist, practice-led teaching, learning and research draw talented individuals with a shared passion for visual culture and creative production from all over the world.  Originally founded in 1845 as one of the first Government Schools of Design, the School’s history can be traced back to 1753 and the establishment of the Foulis Academy delivering a European-style art education. Today, the GSA is an international community of over 3500 students and staff across architecture, design, fine art, innovation and technology in our campuses in Glasgow and Altyre (in the Scottish Highlands) and a thriving Open Studio programme delivering non-degree provision to over 1500 students annually.
