Maria Paula Baron Aristizabal (Colombia)
Maria
Paula was attracted to study in Glasgow by the vibrancy of the city and its
creative community. Her MDes collection began with two interests: paintings by
artists such as Picasso and Matisse, and theatre. Her garments, made from
digitally printed silk and cotton, take the form of a series of theatrical
characters she creates in her attempt to reflect of the roles we all play in
society, including The Clown, The Gent and Death

space that human bodies take.
