“In only a decade, Jonathan Saunders has made his mark in an
extraordinarily competitive global industry,” says Professor Seona Reid, Director of the GSA. “Jonathan’s greatest influence has been his visibility as a
textile-trained designer in the fashion industry where he has openly
demonstrated the interactive and synergetic nature of textile design (print)
with fashion design. He has dispelled the notion that textile design and
fashion design are mutually exclusive activities within the same industry.”
