Glasgow School of Art graduates Penny Morton and Jan Wright have made the latest shortlist for the Scottish Institute for Enterprise Fresh Ideas awards, it has been announced. Each of the finalists for this competition, which supports students and recent graduates to develop early-stage ideas, will have the opportunity to pitch for investment on 12 March 2021.
Penny Morton, a GSA Product Design Engineering student who graduated in 2020 has been shortlisted for a new discrete portable and hands-free solution for managing endometriosis pain, helping users enjoy life outside the home which was designed in partnership
Meanwhile, Jan Wright, who initially studied Interior Design at the GSA and went on to do a Masters in Architectural Studies in the Mackintosh School of Architecture at The Glasgow School of Art, has been shortlisted for Shop Small Glasgow – a virtual shopping experience promoting small businesses in Glasgow, created in partnership with Penny Morton.
